
Frances Rogers provides representation and
legal counsel to clients in all matters pertaining to labor, employment
and education law. Frances has extensive litigation, arbitration, and
administrative hearing related experience, including deposition and
discovery, settlement, court proceedings and advocacy before State and
local administrative officers and tribunals. Frances is also
experienced in conducting and assisting with investigations pertaining
to harassment, discrimination and employee misconduct, and advising
clients concerning compliance with state and federal employment laws.
Frances has experience
representing and advising community college districts and school
districts in several areas including student discipline, campus safety,
teacher/faculty/classified discipline, merit system, hiring, leaves, and
Brown Act. Frances also represents and advises cities, counties and
other public agencies in all matters from employee discipline, labor
disputes, retirement, and discrimination.
Prior to joining
Liebert Cassidy Whitmore’s Fresno office, Frances worked for a Central
Valley firm handling a variety of civil litigation.
Frances
was chosen as a 2009 Northern California Rising Star.
