Cepideh represents and advises our clients
regarding all aspects of employment law and labor relations. She is
experienced in handling labor and employment matters under the Meyers-Milias-Brown
Act, the Education Employment Relations Act, the Public Safety Officers
Procedural Bill of Rights Act, the Fire Fighters Procedural Bill of
Rights, the Fair Labor Standards Act, and State and Federal civil rights
and family leave laws.
Cepideh’s background
includes contract negotiations, mediations, arbitrations, administrative
hearings, EEOC and DFEH proceedings and litigation. She appears before
civil service and personnel commissions, governing bodies and the
courts.
Her prior experience in
accounting and pension plan administration have allowed Cepideh to
develop the skills to audit and calculate the complex mathematical
formulas often at issue in wage and hour cases. Cepideh has authored
articles involving the FLSA and pension issues.
