
Camille Y. Townsend provides representation
and legal counsel to clients in matters pertaining to education, labor
and employment law. Camille’s practice focuses on litigation from
commencement through appeal.
Camille’s experience
encompasses employee termination and discipline, employment
discrimination, harassment and retaliation, and conducting workplace
investigations. She is also experienced in drafting school district
handbooks/policies.
Prior to joining
Liebert Cassidy Whitmore’s Los Angeles office, Camille’s practice
focused on litigation, including employment, commercial litigation, and
legal malpractice at a national law firm.
Camille currently
serves on the 2009/2010 Executive Board of the Black Women Lawyer's
Association of Los Angeles and currently sits on the Board of Directors
for Lets Erase the Stigma (LETS) a national non-profit organization
dedicated to erasing the stigma of mental illness.
