Policies should prohibit the unauthorized sharing of personal information with AI systems, especially information about other students or staff. Security measures, such as encryption and regular security audits, should be implemented to guard against unauthorized data breaches. Having a robust breach response protocol is also key to minimizing damage in the event of a data security incident.
