Morgan J. Johnson is an Associate in the Fresno office of Liebert Cassidy Whitmore. Morgan focuses his practice on matters pertaining to employment, education, and labor law for public agencies.

Prior to joining LCW, Morgan gained legal expertise through his time at a nonprofit where he conducted legal research, prepared legal memorandum, and drafted motions on labor union free speech issues. Morgan also spent time as a Research Assistant for the University Of California Davis School Of Law for several professors where he prepared memorandum and conducted legal research for antitrust and arbitration questions. Morgan has also published an article in the UC Davis Law Review on Constitutional stare decisis and how courts approach overruling established legal precedents.

Morgan earned his J.D. from the University of California, Davis School of Law where he served as the Senior Articles Editor for the UC Davis Law Review in addition to being an active Member of the Moot Court and First Generation Advocates. Additionally, Morgan was awarded the Academic Excellence Award in Lawyering Process during his time in law school. As an undergrad, Morgan attended the University of Washington where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy with Departmental Honors and a Bachelor of Arts in History.
